High-Quality, Handmade Dog and Cat Bandanas - Reversible, Made in Texas and Styles to Match Everypawdy!
Angie Hernandez, my mom, has been making bandanas for our corgis for years, but now she's decided to put her skills to work and open an Etsy shop, SouthernPawzShop. She was thrilled to have her own marketing manager (ahem, me). So of course, I'm pulling out all the stops for her, which include handling the listings on Etsy, having photoshoots with the corgis and new products, creating graphics, ensuring customers can find her on the website and app, and of course staying up to date on trends.

Promoting the shop on Instagram was an easy choice since her corgi Karl has over 4,000 followers and mine have over 3,000! Not to mention, our friends love to buy new products for their dogs and then share on their profiles, which also have thousands of followers. Dog influencers are the marketing vehicle of the future! Currently only using organic media since our dogs and their friends have a lot of pull (hopefully they don't start asking for payment in treats).
Lastly, I wanted to utilize Pinterest since it automatically puts relative content in front of consumers and because I had major success using Pinterest when I was a Social Media Intern at James Avery Artisan Jewelry. For these pins, I wanted them to be eye-catching and lead customers to the main page on Etsy.
It's been exciting to help my mom achieve her goals! We're working everyday to continuously improve marketing and stay ahead of trends.
